1864-08-13; ; This cartoon shows a Pennsylvania Dutch farmer with all of his possessions packed up in case of another Confederate invasion. Though the possibility of another invasion was unlikely, the startling effect of a Confederate offensive into the North left many Pennsylvanians worried and questioning their safety.
