Belgocaranx luypaertsi gen. and sp. nov., a new skeleton-based Carangid Fish from the Boom Clay (Rupelian, Early Oligocene) at Kallo (N. Belgium)

A three dimensionally preserved carangid skull from a concretion level at the top of the Boom Clay (Rupelian, Oligocene) in the Vrasenedok (Kallo, Belgium) is described and assigned to a new genus and species: Belgocaranx luypaertsi (Teleostei, Perciformes).
