Abstract: Urbanisation amplifies environmental stressors, including heat, air and noise pollution, while constraining horizontal space for green areas. Vertical greening (VG) offers a sustainable alternative to mitigate these environmental stressors and enhance the well-being of urban residents, particularly in densely built areas.
