peer reviewed ; In the surroundings of the hamlet of Becco (Theux, province of Liège , Belgium), the sites of "La Heid de Fer" and 'L'Ourlaine" are known to have supplied lithic materials assigned to the Early Mesolithic (pre-Boreal).
