Postcolonial stakes of the Congolese political fields (DRC) in Belgium, 50 years after the Independance

peer reviewed ; This joint contribution interrogates the postcolonial relations that are at play in the Congolese political sphere in Belgium, the former colonial metropolis. Two lines of argument are developed. First, the politicisation of the postcolonial relations, which pre-dates the Congolese immigration to Belgium, is viewed from a historical perspective. Second, the highly competitive political plu- ralism, as observed since the early 2000s, is examined.
