1. The growth of Crangon crangon can be followed by counting the segments of the exopodite of the antennula (TIEWS, 1954). The frequency of moulting is a function of temperature. Knowing the growth at each moult (fig. 3) and the monthly mean temperature, a diagram for the growth of the shrimp could be reconstructed (fig. 4).
