Crisilla semistriata (Montagu, 1808), een nieuwe soort voor de zuidelijke Noordzee, en waarnemingen van Epitonium clathratulum (Kanmacher, 1798) van het Westhinder gebied

Five live specimens of the little rissoid snail Crisilla semistriata (Montagu, 1808) were present on two stones originating from the erosion protection surrounding the Westhinder measuring pile. The pile is situated some 30 km off the Belgian cost (51° 23' 18,571" N; 02° 26' 16,133" E).This is the first record of this species from the southern North Sea. Apart from this, the stones yielded some 25 wentletraps Epitonium clathratulum (Kanmacher, 1798) presumably living in a somewhat firm mud layer in the neighbourhood of sea anemones, mainly Metridium senile .
