Acritarches du Frasnien supérieur et du Famennien inférieur du bord Méridional du bassin de Dinant (Ardenne belge)

Upper Frasnian and lower Famennian acritarchs are described from the Sinsin, Houyet, and Ciergnon areas, and principally from the lower Famennian of the Senzeilles area, at the southern margin of the Dinant Basin, in the Belgian Ardennes. This study permits the provisional recognition of a sequence of five palynofloras which are dated by means of rhynchonellid brachiopods and/or conodonts. Seven species are new: Ammonidium maritimum, Horologinella? wicanderi, Palacanthus tripus, Pterospermella eruptio, Visbysphaera impetuosa, V.? occultata and Winwaloeusia ranulaeforma .
