Une nouvelle observation de Liocarcinus vernalis (Risso, 1827) dans les eaux belges (Crustacea, Decapoda, Brachyura)

In September 1998, 5 juvenile crabs Liocarcinus vernalis were collected, together with 463 Liocarcinus holsatus and 2 Carcinus maenas by the vessle Saturnus , about 1,5 miles in front of the coast of Blankenberge and Bredene (Belgium). A recovery of the North Sea population of the swimming crab is possible, if the winter 1998-99 will not be too severe.
