Waarnemingen van de Afrikaanse zeepok Solidobalanus falax langs de Franse Atlantische kust en op drijvende voorwerpen aangespoeld op het Belgische strand

During early April of this year, the African barnacle Solidobalanus falax was found on the French Atlantic coast. The species was abundant on lobsterpots in the harbour of Piriac. Two specimens were also found on the beach of Piriac: an empty one on a valve of Spisula solida and a live one was growing on a specimen of the red algue Calliblepharis ciliata washed ashore.
