International audience ; The archaeological excavations carried out since 2006 on the site of “Bois-l’Abbé”, located in the town of Eu (Seine-Maritime), have made it possible to demonstrate that the site does not consist of an isolated sanctuary, as mentioned by previous researchers, but of an antique urban area called Briga, of which the extent at its peak in the early third century reached at least 65 ha.
