This research tries to deepen the Spanish-Belgian literary relations during the end of the 19th century through the poetics of the dead city. To this end, a theoretical approach to Belgian spatial poetics promoted by the Jeune Belgique movement has been carried out, based on the works of Jeannine Paque, Christian Berg and Paul Gorceix, among others.
