International audience ; Abstract: Surveys carried out at the highest point of the vast plateau of “Grand Champ” (municipalities of Mazée/Niverlée, Belgium), allowed for the discovery, in the early 1980s, of a large Roman site. The occupied area, the presence of numerous fragments of architectural terra cotta, the collected material and the local context all point towards it having been a rural type of villa.
