The Val-Benoît mini-campus, in a dilapidated state due to neglect, is currently under threat. Apart from its undoubtedly aesthetic qualities, most of the buildings also have an exceptional potential for redevelopment. Furthermore, their simple and resistant structure has enabled them to survive complete neglect over several years without any major damage. Nowadays, designated as a site for redevelopment by the Walloon Region, Val-Benoît deserves a great deal more than its current fate.
