Our research aims to study the effect of the introduction of endosymbiotic bacteria in the mosquito species that could be potential vectors of disease in Belgium. Method used was the microinjection of endosymbiotic bacteria within the detected exempt mosquito species. Three genus of suspected vectors belonging to Aedes, Anopheles and Culex were microinjected at different stages of their life cycle (eggs, larvae, pupae, and adults), and survivability of mosquitoes and persistence of microorganism were determined. Results show that survival in the different stages was variable.
