Le commerce du tabac à Adinkerke (Belgique) : la frontière franco-belge investie par les Britanniques

In the Flemish town of Adinkerke, almost thirty tobacco shops have opened for the last ten years, mainly directed towards British customers. Actually this is the closest Belgian place to Great Britain by road, through the Channel Tunnel. A survey has been carried out on the tobacco traders in order to give a first overview of this traffic. The article aims not only at showing the specificity of this commercial area in terms of comparative advantages, but also at highlighting the dilation of the border zone, as a symptom of the current border change within the European Union.
