Rijksmuseum Kroller-Muller: Aerial view

Aerial view ; The idea behind van de Velde's original design can still just be discerned in the aerial photograph of the building. Two wings with bulbous ends are built on to a square central section. The break in symmetry caused by the extension on the left did not occur until later and was probably not part of the original design.
