Open Science and Linked Data to Create a FAIR Corpus of Intra-Belgian Book Translations 1970-2020

This is an abstract of a short-paper presented at the DHBenelux 2022 conference. To provide context, the abstract introduces the BELTRANS project about book translations from Dutch to French and French to Dutch between 1970 and 2020 from which certain contributors must be of Belgian nationality. Challenges with respect to heterogeneous data sources and good data management - as key conduit leading to knowledge discovery and innovation (Wilkinson, 2016) - are explained and tackled with an open source workflow based on Linked Data.
