Within the framework of this study, we will examine the possible liability, under French and Belgian laws, or search tools providers, in relation to their methods of reference listing. Initially, some explanations are necessary concerning the technical working of search tools. This is indispensable in order to understand correctly the degree of responsibility that might be applicable.
