Telling It how it is: health and safety reporting - The Government has called on Britain's top companies to start publishing annual information on health and safety performance this year, with details of fatalities, "near misses" and major injuries . The Health and Safety Commission (HSC) has produced new guidance to help them do so, and has hinted at a mandatory requirement to report. The guidance forms part of the Government's Revitalising health and safety strategy, which recognises that a higher profile for health and safety in annual reporting could help improve performance".
