Disability discrimination - H J Heinz & Co Ltd v Kenrick The EAT holds that an employer's less favourable treatment of a disabled person may be for a reason that relates to his or her disability within s.5(1)(a) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 ("the DDA") whether the employer knew of the disability as such or that its material features fell within Schedule 1 to the DDA.
