Stress managers unwind - The seventh annual conference of the International Stress Management Association explored how employers can reduce individual and organisational stress. Job insecurity, organisational change and information overload were identified as the main causes of work stress by speaker after speaker. Although few remedies for these stressors were offered, the conference did provide plenty of guidance for employers on managing to overcome some of the more avoidable causes and effects of stress atwork.
