With the European elections just around the corner and, in Belgium, the legislative and regional elections taking place on the same day, the political system seems to be at a standstill. In 2024, Belgium is holding the presidency of the European Union. It will be assumed by a federal government out of breath and focused on the elections on 9 June 2024. Elections will take place in a more and more fragmented political system and delivering large governments, unable to tackle the main problems of the society.
