The macrophytobenthos is integrated by marine macroalgae and angiosperms that live on marine bottoms of the photic zones of the planet and make up an important part of marine biodiversity. The inventory of macroalgae and marine angiosperms species from the National Park Caguanes, at the Sabana-Camagüey archipelago, Cuba, ispresented. 104 infrageneric taxa were found in samplings accomplished in 2003: five Phaeophyceae, 53 Rhodophyta, 42 Chlorophyta and four Tracheophyta were identified. The macroalgae species reported represent the 18 % of the species previously known for Cuba until 2015, showing a high diversity in the macrophytobenthos. It is necessary to address a larger sampling effort to other biotopes at different seasons in order to complete the inventory of macrophytobenthos species at PNC. Se presenta el inventario de especies de macroalgas y angiospermas marinas de la zona sublitoral del Parque Nacional Caguanes (PNC), situado enel Archipiélago Sabana-Camagüey, Cuba. En muestreos realizados en el año 2003, en 22 sitios, se identificaron 104 taxones infragenéricos: cinco Phaeophyceae, 53 Rhodophyta, 42 Chlorophyta y cuatro Tracheophyta. El acumulado de taxones infragenéricos representó el 18 % de las conocidas para Cuba hasta 2015 (579), lo que muestra una alta diversidad de macrofitobentos. Es necesario dirigir el esfuerzo de muestreo a otros biotopos y en diferentes épocas del año, para completar el inventario de especies del macrofitobentos del PNC.
