International audience ; By studying the French president François Hollande's discourses about the intervention in Mali, in January 2013, our objective was to determinate how the pragmatic modalities of a genre (here, the presidential speech) can influence the choice of a certain stereotyping process, in an argumentative and pragmatic intention. More specifically, we have observed the way one of these processes, the lexical repetition, generates transfers of senses, values and emotions, which implies an implicit re-categorization of the referent. This mechanism forms, in part, the figural and argumentative dimension of the repetition. ; En traitant un corpus composé de discours du président français François Hollande sur l’intervention française au Mali en janvier 2013, cette étude a pour objectif de déterminer comment les modalités pragmatiques d’un genre (ici le discours présidentiel) influencent le choix d’un certain type de procédé de stéréotypage dans une certaine visée argumentative et pragmatique. Nous avons plus précisément observé la manière dont l'un de ces procédés, la répétition lexicale, est à l’origine d’un transfert de sens, de valeurs et d’émotions qui induit une recatégorisation implicite du référent, ce mécanisme constituant, en partie, la dimension figurale et argumentative de la répétition.
