DUST CONTROL MEASURES IN DUTCH BRICKWORKS

Dust concentrations in Dutch brickworks and the efficiency of measures to reduce exposure to dust were investigated in four representative works. The project consisted of three parts. In Part 1 total and respirable dust and respirable quartz dust were measured before control measures were recommended or taken. The dust concentrations were in many cases too high; the respirable quartz dust concentration was most critical.
