This thesis aims at studying the Spanish translations of three novels from the “cycle of Marie” of the francophone Belgian writer Jean-Philippe Toussaint. Composed by four novels – Faire l’amour, Fuir, La Vérité sur Marie et Nue – the tetralogy has been partially translated in Spanish in a fragmentary way, in two varieties of Spanish – peninsular and rioplatense – by an Argentine and two Spaniards.
